York Minster

York Minster is the largest Gothic Cathedral in Northern Europe and renowned worldwide as an artistic and architectural masterpiece. Visit the Undercroft, Treasure & Crypt to see Roman and Norman remains, climb the tower for breathtaking views of the city of York or take one of the many exciting tours on offer, such as a Hidden Minster tour, Glass Conservation Studio tour or Stoneyard tour. Services occur daily. All are welcome to attend.

 

Monday - Saturday: open 9.00am (9.30am November- March);last entry 5.30pm

Sunday: 12.00 noon - 3.45pm

No sightseeing on Good Friday and Easter Sunday or on Sundays before 12.00 noon
