Article published on 01 March 2010

• Paul Humphreys vs. Martyn Ware in a unique ‘sound clash’ at Magna in
  Rotherham.
• Penthouse and Pavement to be performed live for first time.
• Band returns to industrial sites that inspired its music.

Heaven 17 will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their seminal album ‘Penthouse and
Pavements’ with a concert at Magna on 6th March but just announced is that in
addition to the premier live performance of Penthouse and Pavements and a unique
audio visual display, Richard H Kirk from Cabaret Voltaire will return to this unique
venue and perform one of his unique sets on the main stage with the full lights and
sounds to amaze the audience.

Following the main performance, there will be a sound clash in the VIP room between
Paul Humphreys (OMD) and Martyn Ware (Heaven 17) to find the champion 80's
synthpop DJ!

Access to the VIP area will be available to a limited amount of guests on the night for
this unique event. Tickets are still available at www.visitmagna.co.uk/concerts.
To complete the evening, 6 local bands and 6 DJ's will be occupying the unique
spaces within Magna until 3.00am.
